baby in a sling- what a great idea!!

okay, so this might be the greatest invention ever for moms and babies! this baby sling was given to me from my friend paula and life has never been the same. emma loves to snuggle in here and i have never spent more than 5 minutes getting her to fall asleep. of course while she's sleeping in her sling i have TWO free hands (that hasn't happened since emma was born) and can get so many things done! so, if you know anyone with a little one you must get them a baby sling! paula makes these awesome inventions and every mom should have one! if you want more information about them you can e-mail her at paula@missionfromdog.com. i would highly recommend it!

the smallest little hawkeye ever! i don't know if you can read the shirt but it says "this is my first iowa t-shirt" i thought maybe i had some pom pons left from my iowa dance team days, but no luck- they probably would have been as big as her anyway:)

i got this little onsie for steve on father's day! of course we didn't know if emma was a boy or a girl yet but she's glad to be on daddy's team!

emma's first trip to church

a couple of weeks ago we took emma to her first church service! steve's cousin lisa was in town and wanting to see little emma so we dressed her in a most precious dress and took lots of pictures (surprise surprise!) she loved the music:)

people keep saying that she looks so big (and she is getting big) so we put her in this chair so you could tell how small she really is
she just really loves her daddy!

emma is so alert these days... she likes to look around mostly at us and pictures we have up around the apartment. it's been fun to watch her watching us!
