long time no pics...

sorry it's been a while since i added new photos but it's been a little hard finding things, including the cord attaching the camera to the computer. these pictures were actually taken right before we left florida and the dress was handmade by steve's grandmother for his aunt anne (dale's sister) when she was a baby! i love that we have pictures of her in it- she looks like a little doll!

home sweet home, finally

well, it's official... we own our lovely house! it has been one crazy roller coaster ride but finally sitting here enjoying a breathtaking view of mount rainer from our master bedroom window it was worth all the drama- and there was drama!! we got the keys on thursday and some of the youth group came over and surprised us by taking care of the whole outside of the house. they planted flowers, mowed the lawn, trimmed the bushes, fixed a fence, made a little sand box for emma out of what was a little pond thing in the backyard (an accident waiting to happen), laid out mulch and that was just the outside!! then a bunch of kids came over and cleaned the house from top to bottom- inside all the cabinets, the walls, the bathrooms, everything. while the cleaning was happening they unloaded all the stuff out of the truck and into the proper rooms so we don't just have a garage full of stuff AND they're coming again on saturday to help paint and unpack!! do we have a fantastic group of kids or what!?!

so some of you have been asking for an address to our little chateau and with all the drama i was afraid to give it out just in case this didn't work out, but now i can freely share...

honestly, as exciting as the house is we are really just excited to finally be here and work with these amazing students. steve is jumping right in with his first sunday of teaching next weekend and he is pumped. he is also getting ready for a missions trip to montana this july, i think there are like 100 people in on that trip! emma and i will be staying here while my mom and sister come to visit and help get things decorated around here! so, as you can tell many exciting things going on here! we'll get some pics up soon and keep everyone posted with this amazing journey! we appreciate everyone's support and prayers and hope we will have lots of visitors here in the pacific northwest!!

steve's family had a little luau for us before the big move to washington! emma already had a grass skirt so she was ready to party! enjoy the pictures of our hawaiian hula baby...

but it really is true-she's even precious when she's sleeping...

not only is she the cutest thing when she's sleeping she also
greets everyone with great big smiles every time she wakes up!!

so long sunny florida...

...we're moving to washington!!! this will be emma's third state to live in in her short 9 months of life! steve will be the new youth pastor at a great church in federal way, wa which is about 25 miles south of seattle. we are excited about the move, though less excited about the distance- 3,146 miles from our current tropical location, i mapquested it! we are in the process of closing on our house-yes, we bought a house-and should be heading out there in less than a month! we will have a guest bedroom so if anyone is venturing out to the pacific northwest, drop on by the grieme family residence. we have an awesome view of the mountains, a jacuzzi tub in the master bath (emma's new swimming pool), and granite counter tops in the kitchen- who could ask for more?!?
