i'm pretty sure emma is the happiest child in the world when i go in and get her after a nap! she's always funny but there's something about that post-slumber greeting that just makes me laugh! i decided to try and catch some of her antics on film and here's what i got...
as soon as i start to open the door i hear "mommy"
ahhh... it just melts my heart everytime!
of course this smile is generally what awaits me
when i peek at her over the crib!
i can't get enough of that grin!
i'm not sure what she's doing here!
this is the famous monkey my mom got for her for
valentine's day last year and she sleeps with it every night!
it even goes with us if we're sleeping somewhere else (great gift mom!)

Oh the sweetness of Emma! She is growing and changing so much. Golly for all the teeth I can see in the one picture. As always she never fails to entertain well on the video.
