our new little treasure...

i know some of you have seen these pics before but here are some pictures from one of the sonograms we had done a bit ago. we realized there was no mention of this little one on the blog yet so here he/she is, making his/her blog debut!!!

the best part of wakin' up...

i'm pretty sure emma is the happiest child in the world when i go in and get her after a nap! she's always funny but there's something about that post-slumber greeting that just makes me laugh! i decided to try and catch some of her antics on film and here's what i got...

ahhh... it just melts my heart everytime!

this is the famous monkey my mom got for her for 

valentine's day last year and she sleeps with it every night!

i know i know... it's been a while! i really have no excuses so i'm not even going to try and defend myself. instead we'll just skip over the last four months as though i'm not the negligent blogger we all know i am!

emma was raggedy ann for halloween this year! my mom made the costume, of course, and it was beyond great!!  the youth group had a party up at the church, "fall thing" and emma was the life of the party! she was such a good sport- she kept her hat on the whole night!!
